Facebook is one of the best tools you can use to become super successful at network marketing. You can easily connect with people around the world, build relationships and introduce them to your products and opportunity.

Many women in network marketing have no trouble making connections, but can feel uncomfortable or ineffective when it comes time to mention their business.

Instead of “spamming” people with sales-y messages, the smarter thing to do is share updates and message that generate curiosity (so people contact you to get more details).

Someone who does this very well is top leader and busy mom, Michelle Barnes. When she first started her business, she made the classic mistake of “throwing up her business” on people constantly (and said she often felt like a member of the  N.F.L – the “No Friends Left” club).

Here are some additional questions you can ask that make it easy to get people talking and create opportunities to mention what you do-

What are you up to these days?

How’s your job?

What do you like most about what you do?

What do you like least about what you do?

How are your kids?

I love that you just (insert something personal about them).

Asking these kinds of open ended questions builds rapport and trust with others. If someone is struggling with an issue that your products or business can solve – share it as possible next step. If not, you’re developing a friendship that can lead to referrals or future opportunities.

Facebook is a great tool to meet new people, get to know them and create organic opportunities to share what you have. Enjoy the process and soon you’ll be using Facebook for network marketing like a pro.
